Workplace health and safety is a priority for all companies, managers, and employees.
Legislative Decree 81/2008 (the Consolidated Law) revised previous legislation to create an organic structure for this topic, and also to integrate health and safety with the principles of Legislative Decree 231/2001.
The new decree introduced new management, responsibility, and supervisory aspects. Workplace health and safety obligations are tricky to manage as they are directly related to work activities risk prevention. Workplaces, machines and systems must comply with the aforementioned decree, as well as the prevention measures management.
Last but not least, particular attention should be given to a clear definition of roles and responsibilities and compulsory workplace training.
